Autism Camp
We will host autism camp for 3 weeks in summer 2023. Each session runs Monday – Thursday from 9AM to 1PM.
Session 1: July 10 – July 13, 2023
Session 2: July 17– July 20, 2023
Session 3: July 24 – July 27, 2023

Faculty in the Department of Health and Human Performance established the Autism Summer Camp Program in 2010. The first summer camp was hosted in July 2010 and it was the first of its kind in San Marcos to specifically focus on children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This camp is partnered with the Department of Health and Human Performance, Clinic for Autism, Research, Evaluation, and Support, and the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District, and is supported by local sponsors so that we can continue providing services to this underserved population.
