3/2 Dual Degree Program
Allows undergraduate Exercise & Sports Science students to enter the Master of Science in Athletic Training program during the summer of their 4th year and earn a B.S. in Exercise & Sport Science and Master of Science in Athletic Training.
Programmatic Overview: The Professional Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training is a two-year, master’s program preparing students to enter the profession of athletic training by passing the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) examination after completion of this degree. All graduate students are required to engage in a research process, via their capstone project. This is a 55 credit hour program each new cohort begins in June each year.
